Terminal Server isn't that Important to Microsoft

This is what Citrix has been saying all along, and it look's like they're right.

Microsoft's Worldwide Partner Conference 2003 is coming up in two weeks in New Orleans. (This show is the combined Microsoft Fusion and Business Solutions Stampede conferences, with 7,000 attendees expected.) Basically, this is one of Microsoft's biggest shows of the year.

I just had a look at the detailed session breakout list, a 29-page document. Unfortunately, it looks like Terminal Server and/or RDP are not on the agenda at all--not even mentioned. (Searching for "Terminal" or "RDP" or "Bear" turns up nothing.. Is there something else that I should search for?)

With iForum coming up in mid-October (and the recently announced CUG Tech Conference in late-October), we'll have plenty of opportunity for new information. Unfortunately, none of that will be from Microsoft.

I'm planning on attending the Worldwide Partner Conference, and I'll report via this site if I hear anything Terminal Server- or Bear Paw-related.
