Sunday the Speakers converge on Washington

Well my day started bright and early with a 10 am Flight from Cleveland where the temp was in the 40's and the trees and shrubs still have no leaves on them. Not to mention we had 6 to 12 inches of snow just last week I flew into a DC national (and boy were my arms tired!)

I flew into a DC national (and boy were my arms tired! ) and hooked up with my ride to the Hilton.  On the way we passed the soldiers and sailors monument and I noticed that all of the trees were in full bloom.

The houses along the way of the drive to the hotel were spectacular, huge brick edifices that must be over 100 years old and would cost in the millions if you had them in Cleveland.

I met up with the group of speakers in the Hilton lobby, the first person I met was Jeff Pitsch, a heavy poster to the Citrix Forums and the thin list.  Ron Oglesby the Citrix Guy arrived to check in, in all his glory.  Also there was Thomas Kotzing (another one of the top poster to Citrix's forums, Tim Mangan of Tmurgent.com, Charlotte Kuenzel of ThinPrint and several other of the speakers.  We met up with Rick Mack on the way to the restaurant.

I'd have to say that the food wasn't the best but the beer and the conversation flowed quite nicely.

I was mesmerized sitting at the table with THE greatest minds of SBC fame. I took several pictures some of which I have posted here http://thethin.net/DotNetNuke/Briforum/tabid/55/Default.aspx

I could tell right away that I am in for 2 more days of head spinning mind numbing Geek talk. I was in heaven.
