This demo doesn't really show/tell you much. There was no mentioned of bandwidth usage, or what hardware is required. They mentioned GPU based encode/decode, which implies you need a thick client of some kind. What are the GPU requirements, and what server hareware supports this for TS. I can see how this would fit with blade workstation technologies, but there are others already doing similar things. The think I am interested in figuring out is what the Calista virtual GPU is all about. Does this mean you can get hardware acceleration in a VM?? That is what I am waiting for.
