Each class is customized for the particular students that attend. About a month before the class, we create an email distribution list for the students so that we can discuss specific class goals, skill levels, and products used. And, since these classes aren't sponsored by Citrix (or anyone, for that matter), we can also talk about third-party products, like printing and performance solutions, or even about how Citrix compares to New Moon and Terminal Server.
All students are invited to attend a welcome reception on Sunday evening before the class starts, and in each city we're having a Thursday night tech forum the week of the class. (We invite the local Citrix community and vendors to attend the Thursday forum.)
I've scheduled classes for the following locations:
- Boston, MA, April 19-23, 2004
- Houston, TX, April 26-30, 2004
- Tampa, FL, May 3-7, 2004
- Chicago, IL, June 21-25, 2004
- San Diego, CA, June 28-July 2, 2004
You can also download a PDF version of the class overview if you need to justify it to your boss.
