9:45 In related news (that did not come up in the keynote), VMware extended their Cortado (ThinPrint) OEM agreement for an additional 8 years. (Press release)

9:40 Raghu Raghuram is on stage talking about the software-defined datacenter. I'll probably not comment much here unless anything EUC-related comes up.

9:38 Sanjay is closing by emphasizing the three points of their EUC strategy: Unified Experience, any device, anywhere. Customers are driving industry change. Optimized for the software-defined datacenter.

9:37 New VMware marketing term: "Just in Time desktops."

9:35 Talking about Project Fargo which is copy on write for running VMs. So a new user can connect to a new clone of a running VM essentially instantly. So like live linked clones instead of doing it ahead of time.

9:26 Kit Colbert is on stage talking about how they're simplifying things. He's showing examples of how this works.. doctors having one click access, flowing sessions from device to device, etc. Meh, doesn't seem that special. Yeah, if you have Airwatch then you can manage the devices, but again, that's EMM 101. Same for the synchronized data.

9:22 Sanjay is back, talking about integration of the Suite which is Horizon Desktop, AirWatch Mobile, and Content Locker. So.. so much for that one product thing?

9:18 Some dude from SAP is on stage talking about their mobile apps.

9:15 Watching a video about a new Chromebook that allows good experience for RDSH / VDI. I wonder what protocol that is? Blast or PC-over-IP? @ShawnBass mentioned it's interesting that Jen-Hsun was not on stage with VMware where he was with Citrix.

9:11 Now he's talking about how they have leap-frogged the competition. "Never before Horizon 6 has one product brought RDSH and VDI together." So... I guess Dell vWorkspace doesn't count?

9:08 Wow! Poonen just burned Microsoft. "How many people in the audience came here without an Android or iOS device?... Two people, and I'll pray for you!"

9:08 Oh cool, VMware will allow me to watch US-only Netflix content from Barcelona. ;)

9:06 Sanjay Poonen is on stage.

9:03 Well, the live stream of the keynote is showing yesterday's by mistake. So, uh... nevermind I guess? #fail
