I'll be spending about three weeks in Europe in October speaking at several events on desktop virtualization. The main events are three of TechTarget's one day "Desktop Virtualization 2011" road show events. These events are free, and at each one I'll speak for a few hours about the current state of the desktop virtualization industry with plenty of time for Q&A. The schedule for Europe is:
- Amsterdam, Tuesday, 4 Oct
- Frankfurt, Thursday 6 Oct
- London, Thursday 13 Oct
I'm also giving the opening keynote at TEC 2011 Europe, which takes place from 17-19 October in Frankfurt.
Et finalement, je parlerai à les quatrièmes Rencontres des Virtualisations 2011 in Paris on 18 October. (Fortunately this event will be in English, so you won't have to deal with my French.) This event is being organized by fellow BriForum speaker Vincent Branger, and actually I'll be joined by Benny Tritsch, Shawn Bass, and Rick Dehlinger.. so it will be a pretty crazy event! It takes place in the evening, it's free, and wine will be served. More details and registration are available here.
Two events that I will not be attending are VMworld in Copenhagen and Synergy in Barcelona. I have conflicts during both of those events, although Gabe will be in Barcelona (along with several other CTPs) while I happily follow his live blogs from my home.
This is my last trip to Europe for 2011, so I hope to see you at one of these events soon!
