BriForum 2005 conference site launched, breakout session details posted

By now most people have heard that we're putting together an independent Citrix and Terminal Server technical conference called "BriForum" that will be held April 11-12, 2005 in Washington DC. I'm proud to annouce that we've just launched the official website, complete with speaker bios and session details.

By now most people have heard that we're putting together an independent Citrix and Terminal Server technical conference called "BriForum" that will be held April 11-12, 2005 in Washington DC. I'm proud to annouce that we've just launched the official website, complete with speaker bios and session details.

We're going to have 27 technical sessions covering real-world topics like flex profile design, security, antivirus, group policy use in Citrix environments, application compatilibity, and printing (just to name a few).

This will be the place to be to learn what's really going on in this industry.

We've also finalized the list of presenters and speakers. We're bringing in the top people in the world, including Ron Oglesby, Jeroen van de Kamp, Doug Brown, and 15 others.

triCerat and Lakeside software have signed on as primary sponsors of the event, and we'll have several other exhibitors there as well (such as ThinPrint, Aurema, and UniPrint).

Instead of hosting this conference in some boring hotel ballroom, we rented out an entire movie theater for two days, so we'll have super comfortable seating with great views. We'll also be recording all the sessions (audio and video) so attendees can download and watch the ones they missed. Of course the whole theater will be a free WiFi spot, so you can do what you need to do while you're there.

The only kicker is that due to the size of the theater, we're limited to only 350 attendees, so sign up soon! Registration is only US $495.00 if you sign up by March 1.

See www.briforum.com for more information, including speaker bios, session details, travel, and registration information.

you couldn't come up something more creative than that ?

What do you think we should call it? We called it "Bri" Forum to be like Citrix's "i" Forum or Dr. Conti's "Pub" Forum. It seemed like a cooler name then "Server-Based Computing World" or something like that.

But, what do you think? We're open to suggestions!

Are you going to make this available (at a cost of course) for those of us who can't make the trip??

We haven't decided exactly what we're going to do here, but yes, I promise, this content will be available in some way to those who couldn't attend BriForum in person.
