I've been meaning to post this for awhile but haven't gotten around to it until today. A few months ago, Justin posted about 200 BriForum sessions from the past two years to YouTube. They're now available at youtube.com/briforum.
While we've always had the session videos available on BrianMadden.com (there's a complete list of over 500 videos at briforum.com/videos.html), but we figured that YouTube was more mainstream and more easy to use than our website with Brightcove-based video hosting. (YouTube has apps, works on mobile devices, handles varying amounts of bandwidth, etc.)
We only went back to 2012 because before that we used our own proprietary Adobe Flash-based video player which could play two video streams side-by-side. Back then we'd have one stream of the presenter and another of their screen, and the viewer could "swap" which image was which as often as they wanted. I actually still prefer that experience to just straight videos, but since that was Flash-based and the world is moving off that, and since by then we were at TechTarget and couldn't spend money on that kind of stuff like we could when we were on our own, we just went back to the simple "point a camera at the front of the room" technique.
So anyway, check out youtube.com/briforum for our 2012 and 2013 videos from BriForum Chicago and Lonson. We set up playlists for each conference (based on city and year) along with separate playlists for our technical sessions and our vendor demo videos.
