...and then Pack your Toolbox with SOA, from BriForum 2007

This is the second part of the two-part session "Learn MFCOM, then pack your toolbox with SOA.

This is a video of a breakout session from BriForum 2007, presented by Jason Conger.

Session Description: This is the second part of the two-part session "Learn MFCOM, then pack your toolbox with SOA."

This second part (Pack Your Toolbox with SOA) will explore using MFCOM with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) principles. SOA is a design paradigm that promotes a loosely coupled business application infrastructure. We will take the code from part one (along with some new code) to build reusable web service components as a foundational toolbox.

The really cool part about this session is we will use some .NET “magic” to manage multiple farms from a single application.

Finally, we will build applications of various types (Windows, Web, Console, and SQL Reporting Services) that utilize the foundational web service components to fulfill business processes such as workflow, help desk, reporting, etc.
