Type 1 hypervisors feel like the ultimate weapon and the long-awaited remaining piece in the puzzle of flexible application delivery concepts. However, Citrix is there, providing an enterprise-targeted mature release of such a technology. In this session, we’ll take a look at what’s in their product and drill down on which things you need to take care of in order to match this platform to user expectations.  We will also discuss where it may fit and where it doesn’t. Join Thorsten who has been using a XenClient user from Beta 2 and upwards, doing his daily job on Type-1. (Now updated to reflect the most current release (2.0) which has been in public tech preview since April 2011!)
