10 ways to provide applications to users, from BriForum 2007

Only some years ago there were only two options to provide applications; either locally installed on the workstation or via Terminal Services.

This is a video of a breakout session from BriForum 2007, presented by Bernhard Tritsch.

Session Description: Only some years ago there were only two options to provide applications; either locally installed on the workstation or via Terminal Services. Today's application environments can be more complex. Besides local and remote Windows applications there are traditional Web apps, there is Web 2.0 (AJAX), virtualization, isolation, and streaming. In this session, Benny Tritsch will combine and compare these different technologies in a scenario-based manner. You will learn about advantages and disadvantages of different solutions.
