BriForum 2014 London - Jeff Wouters - PowerShell's Desired State Configuration

PowerShell’s Desired State Configuration
Presented by Jeff Wouters

The flagship of PowerShell v4, Desired State Configuration (DSC). Wouldn't it be nice to define what the configuration of a server (or multiple) should look like, and hold it against a target? If something isn't in compliance, fix it! In a nutshell, that's what DSC does, to ensure the desired state of a target. During this session, I'll explain how DSC works, what it can and can't do, the difference between the two flavours of DSC (Push vs. Pull). All of this with lots and lots of demo's.
