BriForum 2012 London video: Remoting Multimedia and Interactive Graphics Applications

Over the years, Shawn Bass and Benny Tritsch have been constantly developing and improving their unique, vendor-independent, remoting protocol test methodology, allowing them to visually compare different protocols head-to-head. According to the results they presented at last year's BriForum, Microsoft RDP/RemoteFX, Citrix HDX, VMware/Teradici PCoIP and Quest EOP all perform very well on the LAN. The same is true when displaying standard Windows applications based on Microsoft's GDI and other standard 2D graphics formats. But what's next on the testing front? When asking BriForum attendees this question, there was a clear vote for audio/video streams and interactive high-end graphics applications. Folks also wanted to know: How much will the user experience degrade for the different protocols when network bandwidth is constrained and latency is introduced? Join Shawn and Benny in this cutting edge session for an in-depth look at the results of phase 3 of their popular protocol comparison.

BriForum is our independent Desktop Virtualization and Enterprise Mobility conference, held in both London and Chicago. Registration for both shows is currently open. The price to attend the two day London show is currently £895. The three-day BriForum Chicago is currently accepting registrations at the Super Early Bird price of $1295 through April 26, after which the price will rise to $1495 until June 14 before ultimately going up to $1595. We're very proud of these shows, and as you can see in the video below, we have some amazing speakers and topics!
