Using a XenDesktop v4 Desktop Agent With v2 Controller?

Can anybody tell me if it's OK to use a newer version of Virtual Desktop Agent with v2.0 Std Controller? It seems to work OK with v4 agent but can't find anything from Citrix to say if it's supported. Thanks.
