Web Interface is version 4.2 and we use Access Suite Console 4.0. As am new to this infrastructure I'm led to believe this could have been a problem before the CAG upgrade. I colleague of mine did mention that there is an order that everything must be installed i.e WI and ASC etc for it to work correctly but I think this is related to the Advanced version of CAG.

My question is, if the CAG has been upgraded from 4.2 to 4.5.6 is there anything else (Other than the Administration Tool) that needs updating and also would upgrading the ASC and WI to the latest versions mean a complete new install and that settings/configuration will not be saved?

Many thanks for any help people can provide :)

ChrisRead more:Group: Tech Support ForumsForum: Citrix Presentation Server / XenApp

Testking, TestkingWorld, Pass4Sure, and other Braindumps

It seems that not too many people here understand the severity associated with using braindumps; so I'm going to explain why the companies listed in my subject line (along with nearly 1000 other braindump sites) are illegal and will cause you to lose your certifications.

If you're not familiar with CertGuard, get familiar with it. Google it, Yahoo it, do whatever you have to, but know what you're in for when you choose to cheat; or better yet, when you choose not to take 10 minutes to do a little reasearch that will save your certifications.

Before I go any further, I know there are members here that are direct affiliates of those sites and I want them to know that CertGuard is working with Certification Vendors to have all of your braindump sites shutdown. If we can't get them shut down permanently, we will at least have the attention of the vast majority of your target audience, which will reduce your sales and ultimately FORCE you to shut them down on your own.

Now, for those of you not affiliated with the illegal sites, do yourself a favor and avoid them. It's no secret that Certification Vendors have begun "decertifying" everyone that they find cheating. Many of the vendors aren't even asking questions...if you cheat, you lose your certification automatically...and they now have ways of proving that you've cheated. So stop now before you do get caught.

Why are braindumps illegal?

1. They are STOLEN questions and answers from the ACTUAL EXAMS. Stealing is illegal, accepting stolen property is illegal.

2. They violate the Non-Disclosure/Candidate Agreement that you sign before taking the exam. Violation of this agreement is grounds for decertification.

What kind of excuses will allow me to use braindumps?

NONE! Not a single one. There is no excuse for using dumps. The certification vendors don't care if you have "real world experience", or if you "know how to research, but aren't good at taking tests". You know what they care about? They care about the VALUE of their certification program and how cheaters that use braindumps ruin the program for all the honest, hard-working, professionals that have what it takes to EARN the certifications without resorting to information that was stolen from the actual exams.

Well, how do I know what sites are ok to use?

You have to learn how to research! If you're going to survive in the IT Industry, this is one of the many undocumented requirements of every professional. Over 12 months ago CertGuard created a Braindump Identification System that instantly gives you information on over 2,600 certification related websites. Use it for every certification site you visit. If the box in the middle is a "redish" color, avoid he site. It's THAT simple!

How is BrianMadden.com classified?

Currently, because of all the references to braindump websites and unmoderated forums, CertGuard has classified BrianMadden.com as having "Dirty Forums". Basically, this means that the majority of the site looks good enough to pass our initial tests, but until the braindump references are deleted or removed from public view, this site will not be considered "Safe". We hope to change that soon.

See for yourself: http://www.certguard.com/search.asp?Site=brianmadden.comRead more:Group: OtherForum: Certification

Slow prompting for ICA client install via Access Gateway

Citrix Access Gateway 4.5 Advanced Edition

We have recently installed Advanced access controls onto a new server which is accessed via the internet through a Citrix Access Gateway. We have only configured a basic setup whereby our applications are pulled from our webinterface server. Our problem is when a machine without the ICA client connects and authenticates the browser will then pause on the following message:
'You may install the Citrix Web client on this page or click here to proceed without it' appears and stays there for approximately 5 minutes, then the ActiveX control appears and once you accept the download the Webclient install appears.

Internally this works with no problems - from the internet the problem happens every time. I'm thinking about putting a Web Interface server on the same network.

We also use Juniper right now, but only for SSL VPN tunneling using Network Connect.

I'd like to have the users from the Internet connect to the Juniper device, authenticate using AD and our RSA Secure IDs (they do this now for Network Connect) and then be presented with a Juniper web page with a link to the internal Web Interface server (not using Network Connect). Once they click on this, they get their app icons, etc.

What is the security on the connection once they connect to this Juniper page... is this a SSL VPN tunnel at this point? Then, when they launch apps... is this over the SSL VPN Tunnel as well?

I don't do the Juniper administration (obviously), and the people that do are still learning it (we've only had it for about 6 months). This type of setup would be new for us and I'd like to understand it more before I propose it to them. I can't find much on the Internet. I've seen a brief from Juniper on the different options for giving people access to SBC, but they don't get into details.

Thanks in advance!Read more:Group: Tech Support ForumsForum: Security

When's the next BriForum Europe planned

When's the next BriForum Europe going to be (2008)Read more:Group: OtherForum: BriForum Europe 2006 Attendee Blog

Advice on enabling CPU Utilization Management on farm

I am planning to enable "CPU Utilization Management" feature for my existing farm. Today my users have TS profile paths setup in AD. I would like to set a GPO that will allow me to overide the users profile path and act like there was never a profile path setup.

The problem that I have encountered so far is that I can only point that home drive to a hard pathed local disk spot or a diffrent location on the network. I want to redirect the home drive path to c:\documents and settings\%username% just as if they did not have an entry in AD for TS profile path. Because the setting is a computer setting the environment varriables are not avaliable. Am I just doing this wrong or is there a better way to do this?

The reason for wanting this capability is to authenticate the user, but still get the local windows path of an annon user. I want the speed. I want the Group Policy settings. I want to manage it through AD.
