Our subject for the day was security versus user experience. This is familiar concept for frequent BrianMadden.com readers, but what makes this podcast special is that we were talking about it in the context of virtual mobile infrastructure (VMI). What's VMI? Think VDI, except with hosted Android and mobile apps instead of hosted desktops. Raytheon's VMI product is called Trusted Access Mobile—you can listen to the previous Raytheon sponsored podcast to learn more about it. In this show we also talked a lot about VMI, VMI use cases, and how it compares to VDI—it's pretty fascinating stuff!
