I think the problem with Softgrid is identity.  Many companies just bought into the idea of thin client and virtualization using Citrix & VMware and now Softgrid changes this.

Its very difficult to give business and technology people what Softgrid provides, unless it was made free and I am able to proof this technology cuts cost as well as jobs(which is another issue.)

I could've easily done away with Citrix and just use Terminal Services + Softgrid to deploy all my apps.  Not many companies are going to pay for Citrix + Softgrid together.
