Hello all,

We have reached the printing design for our new XenApp 6 farm. I was told that XenApp 6 now sends session print jobs directly to the printer server so installing the native print driver on the XenApp server is no longer necessary. Is that correct?

If so, my next question is what version of driver do I use on the print server? Do I make every effort to use x64? Or would using x86 or a mixture of x86 and x64 be OK?

We have a few MFPs in our environment. I will be using the Citrix UPD for all printers except those when it comes to mapped printers. The MFPs have finishing options that won't work with the UPD. I assume the x86 AND x64 printer driver version will be needed on the XenApp servers in those cases since the end device may be using either one.

Thanks in advance for any replies!

Matt
