I tried to pull up the license management console on my MPS4 server (running W2K) and it showed an empty page pointing to http://localhost/lmc....

Not sure why but when I checked Internet Services Manager the Default Web Site was stopped.  Should this be started back up to get the license management console running?

Hi. This is the correct URL for the license management console if you are running it from the same server that has it installed.

http://localhost/lmc/index.jsp

You need to make sure IIS is running. Go to services and make sure the "World Wide Web Publishing Service" is started.

To troubleshoot further, go to Internet Information Services Management and expand Web Sites. Expand the website and you should see "jakarta". Make sure the virtual directory is pointing to C:\Program Files\Citrix\Licensing\LMC\Tomcat\bin\win32\i386 where isapi_redirect.dll is, assuming a default install of the license console. Execute Permissions should be set to "Scripts and Executables".

Also, be aware that there is a command line tool that can give you information about license usage. While it doesn't have the nice interface of the web based console, you can use it to get license data in a hurry or include it in a batch script to automate reports of license usage.
