I have been unable to make any headway with this issue. The
user is on an HP t5730 with Windows embedded , connecting to a
PS 4.5 Farm with Rollup pack 2. Xenapp 11.0
The base is a published desktop running published office
applications, IE6, and our CRM. They will be copy and pasting
normally, and then occassionally when pasting into a applicaiton
on a different server, they will no longer be able to add new data
to the clipboard, it will only paste the last thing in the clipboard
before the problem manifests.
They can still copy and paste to local apps, but nothing to ANY app
that is coming from the server in question.
I looked into the CBCChain fixes but they are supposed to be
included in Xenapp 11.2. There are no policies in place addressing
this, either to the farm or the server through GPO.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
One additional note, the users are connecting through a CAG using a web portal.
Check the connection settings on the server to make sure you don't have the clipboard disabled.
Why is it called "Common Sense"? It doesn't seem all that common!
When it happens, check the user's session information in the console and see if WFSHELL.EXE is still running. Copy/Paste functionality is dependant upon this module running and it has the tendancy to crash. Figuring out *why* it craps out might be difficult.
