We have recently deployed nine HP T5740 at a remote site with a DS3 connection to the internet.  The ICA client version is 11.0 connecting to a Citrix Presentation 4.5 Platinum Windows 2003 32Bit SP2.  The server is running on Xenserver 5.5 with 4Gb and 4VCPU allocated to the VM.  If the client is connected to the LAN we do not see any performance issues.  When the clients are connected to the WAN they are not able to view PDF, Powerpoint or Web browsing without a majore pause.  Then they continue to click different locations which causes the pause to last even longer.

We have modified the wfclient.ini with the following:
[ThinWire3.0]
WindowsCache=800
TW2StopwatchScale=0
Tw2CachePower=19
MouseTimer500

The clients are set to 1280x1024 24Bit but I run a test environment with 1024x768 full screen at 16bit and no change in results.  We have tried older versions of Citrix ICA 8.0 and 10.0.  We have updated the BIOS and drivers as well with no result changes.

We are running Roll-up 1 which I know is old and we are going to update to RO5 asap.

Any ideas or thoughts would be great.

Thanks

What is the B/W available to 5 clients and how are they printing?

Also look at enabling some of the HDX features.

Sorry for the delayed response. We have updated the Citrix Presentation Server 4.5 from Rollup 1 to Rollup 5. We disabled taskoffload. Then We uninstalled and re-installed Adobe Reader 9 with minimal plugins as well. This has appeared to resolve the issue. Now we are fightin the large EMF print spool. Looking into different options. Thanks,
