I've setup a 2008 R2 server for testing, added the RDS role, along
with RD Web. When I hit the server from a PC running IE, I see the
couple of apps I've published just fine.
But when I connect from a Mac running Safari or Firefox, I can login
fine, but I see no apps under the RemoteApp Programs at all.
I've read various things from 2007-2008 saying TS Web was only
compatible with IE, but I'm hoping that's changed and I've done
something wrong.
Hi Mike, As its in my knowledge its works only with IE. I had not seen it ever working with FF or some other browser.

Hi Mike, as James said the TS Web is ActiveX only, you could create the .RDP files and have the MAC's access these. Not sure on the RemoteApp support in the MAC RDP client though.

Ah well, thanks for the responses.
Back to the drawing board, I guess. But with our CIO having shot down the idea of going wide with Citrix XenDesktop/XenApp, I'm worried about being able to find good cross-platform support.
That is the advantage of Citrix, lots of multi-platform support. Also the competitors of Citrix are RDP based.

have you ever heard about visionapps solution called "workspace management". We have put a lot of work into it to enable cross browser and even different server based solution technologies together into one integrated user interface.
