I am having a problem with my licensing. We ran out of licenses on our farm while waiting for our new license order from Citrix to arrive. They sent us several eval licenses to keep us going until our order was available. That worked OK, but now that I have installed the new licenses, and removed the eval licenses from the license server, some of my servers are still caching the eval licenses, which means our users are getting the warning message about the eval license. I need to make sure ALL of our servers have updated with the new licenses, and no longer using the eval licenses. Most servers have updated, but we are seeing a few each day. So far, I have been changing the license server name to a bogus name, then changing it back to the real server, and that forces the Citrix server to update it's local license cache.

I need a way to make sure ALL servers in the XenApp 4.5 farm refresh the local license cache, so that these eval licenses are gone from the farm completely.

Any ideas??

Thanks.

Did you remove any of the eval .lic files from c:\Program Files\Citrix\Licensing\MyFiles on the Lic Server and restart the Lic service?

Make sure you restarted/rebooted your license server.  It may also help to rebuild the LHC on your ZDC.

Why is it called "Common Sense"? It doesn't seem all that common!
