I am new to Terminal Services and have previously only worked with Citrix.  In PS4 there used to be an option to publish an application with a seamless window or not.  We used to use a non seamless window when we needed to run multiple applications within the one citrix session so that some of the applications would just run in the background.  I have a new requirement to do the same thing but with Terminal Services 2008 RemoteApp now but I can only run the application as a seamless window which means I get multiple (up to 6) RemoteApp windows running on the desktop when I only want to see 1 (and the others running in the background).

Does anyone know how to run RemoteApp not as a seamless window?

Do you know if there is any way to acheive the same outcome using TS without publishing a desktop?

Thanks
