Does anybody have XenApp 4 running on vmware 3.5 or does anybody see an overwhelming reason to use XenServer instead of vmware.

Thanks,

Hello,

we tried Citrix on Vmware and we were only able to get 5 users / system.

Once we moved to xenserver with the same hardware and virtual config we are able to get up to about 25 users / system.

Over all i like xenserver and its my personal hypervisor of choice.

thanks

Jon

I'm running 5 Citrix servers PS 4.5 with 80+ users.  If you are already running VMware, no reason why you should not use it.  You can always create as many servers as you like.

However, if you don't already have VMware, XenServer would certainly be a cheaper solution.
