what kind of problem? sometimes it is sufficient to ripout the app data part from a problem to get it more clean. Is it a local profile or roaming? more information would be nice. also the error your encountering. Easiest way with a roaming profile, delete proflle let user logon with clean profile :)

I have found that it is best to make a copy of the current profile.  Then delete the profile to create a new clean profile by logging on to a server and logging off again and then copy over the items that are needed such as Favorites.  You may have to recreate printers, outlook profile and other things all depends on how your environment is set up.  We have set up many things to auto create such as printers, outlook profiles, and mapping drives with scripts or using Citrix Print Manager.  Sometimes you will be able to delete specific items within the profile that will help resolve problems that are occurring.
