Folks,
Can I ask if it is a realistic idea to use Citrix XenApp 5 installed on 4 servers to support up to 120 thin client devices (HP T5730) in a school? The need to use Webcams, headphones and microphones as well as a lot of heavy video usage is going to be paramount. Although this will be a simple LAN setup I feel that to make it work with all that multimedia activity is going to require extremely expensive, high power servers and it would therefore be cheaper and better to go with standard PCs.
Is anybody doing a similar thing successfully?
