We are in the process of converting to 2008 AD enterprise wide (we had 2003, but are creating a whole new infrastructure).
I have added the new Domain name to Web Interface and am able to authenticate, but I can see no applications.
The users and groups were cloned over to the new AD infrastructure and the SID Histories were kept in place.
I added DOMAINNAME\Domain Users to the Remote desktop users group on all servers that WI is configured to communicate to via XML for data.
I know I am missing something small, but do not want to have to go through all of our applications and add the groups from the new Domain.
Thanks for any help...I am sure there are going to be questions, so let me know!
You need to add the groups from the new domain to the published apps.
Have you tried adding a user created from the new domain to see the results?
Also, if it is a new domain name...you might need to perform some work on the datastore by changing the Server and Server Farm's Domain Membership...if this is the case.
A new user from the NEW domain can see what I add them too.
The company that is assisting with the conversion thought that the cloning on the users, groups and SID history would allow the users to keep their access in Citrix to the applications that they saw on the OLD Domain.
Do you have a trust set up between domains? Do you plan on blowing away the old domain at a later date?
Thanks everyone...after having the vendor run some checks...it appears that there may be an issue with the Trust...wondered why it worked in the test Lab and not in Certification...thought i was losing my mind.
Thanks for the help everyone. As always you have all been right htere to help.
