Citrix Infrastructure Architect (CCIA)

 The ideal candidate will architect, design, install, configure and upgrade Citrix Products. The successful candidate will have solid experience with Citrix servers in complex enterprise-level Windows environments and managing a Citrix Practice.

Roles and responsibilities include:

·         Architect enterprise solutions using Citrix technologies

·         Be a leader and champion of Citrix technologies for the organization and customers

·         Liaison with Citrix Account Managers and Citrix Field resources to grow the Citrix Practice

·         Prepare and co-present solutions to clients

·         Provide necessary documentation to customers during and after project implementations

·         Provide knowledge transfer to customers at the completion of projects

·         Managing and growing the Citrix practice with the Sales team and Technical team

Required Experience

10-15 years Architecture experience including a minimum of 6 years of recent Citrix Server experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information systems, Engineering or equivalent work experience in complex Citrix environments

Required Skills

·         Must be a certified Citrix Infrastructure Architect (IA)

·         Must be able to do application integration and provide communication with customer as to the impact caused by the upgrades

·         Extensive experience with installation, configuration, management, and troubleshooting in complex and large Citrix server farms

·         Experience performing Windows 2003 or 2008 server builds

·         In-depth knowledge of Citrix XenServer, XenDesktop, Password Manager, NetScalers and Branch Repeaters

·         Strong knowledge of Microsoft Terminal Server including rights and security configuration in a multi-user environment

·         Should be knowledgeable with Windows 2003/2008 and Active Directory, Microsoft Back Office Server Products, group policy implementation, security policies, and maintenance

·         Should be knowledgeable in networking, routers, firewalls and V-LANs

·         Strong verbal and written communication skills

·         Must be organized and detail-oriented

·         Must have a team player attitude

·         Ability to interact with all levels of an organization in a professional, diplomatic, and tactful manner. Experience with a global company preferred.


Certifications:

·         Mandatory – current CCIA

·         Assets – MCSE
