I have followed the comments on how RDP etc will rise to meet the VDI world and would appreciate any comments on video/TV It is difficult to identify exactly the overload on the RDP or other protocol when video frames are being transmitted . One reliable indicator is the 'frame drop' rate which I can view from the properties of live TV display ( zero frame drops on LIVE TV on PC , 100+ frame drops on Thin Client) One interetsting example is to set up 2 Live TV sessions on the PC , then remote in to the PC from TC and start 2 new Live TV session via TC. The performance of the 2 TC sessions is obviously poor . The frame drop stats are the only metric i can see to measure the overload .
