I have just started a new role which involves supporting a number of sites.

There is a problem connecting to just one of the Presentation servers which gives the error message:

"SSL Error 37: the proxy could not connect to ;10"

The documentation to support this site is not very good, I believe there is a CAG involved but do not have any details of it. My experience is with SG and not CAG's , do you know how I can identify the IP address (or host name) of the CAG? At the moment i only have information for the PS servers

John - thanks for your quick reply.

To give you a little more information, documentation for this site is very poor and it is a remote site. I do not have an IP address or host name for the CAG! I have been thinking of doing a netstat or interogating ports to figure out the IP address - do you know of any other quicker way of discovering this?

Also, once I do find out the IP address I have the issue of authenticating to it.......

John - also, would you be able to clarify your point about Host file entries. I have read articles mentioning this and understand that an issue could occur with identification of the host.

What exact entry needs to be put in the Host file?

Thanks

Neil

Thanks again for response John - I have tried to escalate but I am still not getting any info at the moment, hard to believe the lack of documentation!

I will let you know how I get on............
