I have 2 zones, one containing Chicago servers and one containing London servers. I have a web interface and csg server in each location. I want to configure zone preference and failover but I cant do it using any of the policy filters provided. Our farm has users in other companies connecting so using the client IP is out....our clients wont reveal the geographical location of a user to us so users and groups are out...and for the same reason so is client name.
What I need is to be able to create a custom filter based on which cwi\csg server the user is coming from....even time zone would be useful. Alternativley does anyone know of a way to force a cwi\csg server to connect to a particular zone?
CAG is not an option as the money is not in the budget for it so some sort of hackery is called for.
Has anyone managed to do any of this with cwi or csg?
