Hello,

I tried to add new Provisioning server to existing farm and I'm getting error:

"An error has occured while establishing a connection to the server ......"

I tested connection from new server to the server hosting sql database and I am able to connect to sql server from ODBC level

any advice would be appreciated

Before adding new server to the existing farm check following:

1. SQL server must allow remote connections

2. Default port 1433 must selected in the properties of tcp protocol in SQL configuration manager

3. create odbc entry on new server and check if PVS database is available and test the connectivity
