My client is in need of a Full-Time Citrix Systems Administrator in Omaha, NE. Relocation assistance provided.
This position is part of a team that is responsible for design, configuration, and support of our clients Citrix farm utilizing Microsoft Windows-based servers for internal and external customers. Candidates must have excellent customer service skills which will be utilized while interacting with customers, end-users and team members.
This position will apply software and systems engineering experience to the analysis of current environments to design and implement a uniquely optimized Citrix solution. This position will require extensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows environments with emphasis in Active Directory, IIS, Terminal Services, and Windows Scripting and a thorough experience with Microsoft operating systems and servers including Server 2000 and Server 2003. This work typically includes drafting a detailed technical plan for HW and SW architecture. This engineer may also be asked to lead and direct the optimization of HW platforms and SW systems for large-scale enterprise projects. This position will require expert knowledge in HW/SW architecture as well as being able to develop design implementation solutions for the company. Extensive experience with Citrix administration is an absolute must. Altiris related exp is a plus. Other duties include: Analyze and document in-house application performance characteristics, interprocess communications, messaging, middleware and collaborative SW on various platforms. Develop detailed project plan for HW/SW architecture. Develop HW/SW business cost of ownership models and presentations for management.
