Currently working on a VDI platform with Citrix XenDesktop, Citrix Provisioning Server and VMware ESX.
Our base image is a Windows XP vDisk used for creating the Virtual Desktops.
How can we manage Virtual Desktop OS updates and antivirus updates ?

After going through the PVS Admin Guide, i noticed it was (obviousy) possible on private vdisks.
The guide also indicates a manual process for standard vdisks.
Has anyone be able to automate the process on a standard vdisk ?
