HP UPD 4.5 to Install onto Metaframe XPe FR3, in the Printing forum on BrianMadden.com

While waiting for management to quit foot dragging and give me the green light on updating to Presentation Server 4.5 I am in the mean time looking for what I hope to be a painless alternative to handling my print driver headaches. I would like to install the HP UPD 4.5 for PCL 5/6 and PS. Is this a good idea on my old Metaframe Servers? I am not quite a noob but I am far from a Metaframe expert so I am looking for some advice. Any comments would be appreciated.

Another alternative would be to install a 3rd party UPD like our Print-IT, ThinPrint, triCerat Simplify Printing, Uniprint....

If I was not appx. 90 days away from finally moving to PS 4.5 that would be a good solution. We already use Thin Print for several Terminal Servers. I was simply hoping to be lazy and take advantage of the HP UPD but I am not sure as to what affect it might or might not have on printing within the old METAFRAME world.
