Hi Everyone,

Here's the deal with the videos.

Right now we have 51 (out of 62 total) "rough" videos that have been captured at all sorts of qualities and bit rates. This was just kind of a raw dump from the cameras as the show went on. My intention was to post these over the weekend, although at this exact moment (Monday morning) I can't find the hard drive they're on. (My house is literally packed full off boxes that we unloaded from the truck on Thursday.)

Meanwhile, Arnie (our video guy) is taking all of the digital tapes and making good quality videos and MP3s that he should be able to deliver to me later today or tomorrow. I will post those as soon as I get them. These will be the videos that will be available for the next few weeks.

Also meanwhile, I am spending my time today grabbing the screen capture animation files from all the presentations and rendering those into AVI videos. I will send those to Arnie as soon as they are done rendering (we have two dual-proc Xeon servers with 4GB RAM each, and the rendering will still take about 30 hours). Arnie will spend the next few weeks assembling the "app" that we talked about at the show where you will be able to play the "talking head" and the "screen capture" videos side-by-side with common player controls.

I'll update this space as we progress through this process.
