Hi All,
First post!
We are currently in the process of migrating from a MetaFrame 1.8 farm running on NT4.0TS to PS4 and need to be able to use the later clients for universal printing in the PS4 farm.
We need to be able to connect to the older 1.8 farm for backwards compatibility during the migration - just in case!
We can connect to a PS3 farm that we also have via either 9.237 or 10.1, however when we try to connect to the 1.8 farm, the connection box hangs on 'Negotiating Capabilities' and never connects.
We can connect to the 1.8 farm from 8.00 however upgrading past this point stops the connection. I've seen a few posts relating to the license server however I know in TS4.0 that it works differently as these articles only relate to 2000 TS.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Neil.

Works fine for me.
Using PN or WI to launch apps?
Are you using TCP/IP or HTTP+TCP/IP as server location protocol in PN. Maybe some or all of your 1.8 servers aren't running XML service (it was introduced with a service pack)?
Have you seen articles on SSLNoCACerts=0 setting?
