Overall, I think ProPalms TSE is a good value. Prior to deployment, we already had terminal servers installed which were primarily used with an SSL VPN for access to remote and traveling staff. However, we wanted to add a solution to publish applications to our office staff. We couldn't really afford Citrix, so took a look at TSE.
It's worked well for us and we've enjoyed the ability to publish applications using seamless windows at a reasonable price.
I hope this helps.
Thanks,
David

Absolutely excellent! We performed our first implementation of 4.0 back in the Tarantella days, just before they sold out to Sun. This was a 70 seat installation and has proved good overall, the only downside being a little instability and the poor support and confidence with Tarantella etc.
When Propalms first took it on, all seemed very quiet and uncertain for a short while but they quickly released 4.1 as mainly a rebranding excercise followed shortly later by version 5 which seems to have addressed all the major bugs head-on as well as adding a few new features, most notably Uniprint.
All I can say for version 5 is that it installs well, runs well and does exactly what it says on the tin for a really affordable price. Their support has been excellent and they genuinely seem keen keep their customers happy and give the impression of being in it for the long term. The clients for whom we have so far deployed TSE 5 are equally happy.
This might just sound like an advert for Propalms but in fact it is just the opinion of a very satisfied customer.
Hope this helps,
Simon
