Dear Users,

maybe this is a stupid question but anyway: We are looking for a way either to hide Publish Apploications in the Web Interface or to restrict the users to have only selected Applications available.

The background is that the management is afraid that the users who would like to work from home have all the programs available as they have it in the office.

Is there a possibility to manage that?

THere is a mod you can do to WI to restrict access to users via the Web INterface, but it's on/off, not by application. Perhaps you can look at Citrix Advanced Access Control.

I modified that mod so you can either hide certain apps, or only show certain apps. It was posted here for quite a while, but those items have since vanished off the site (don't know why, it seemed to happen when the forums changed format). Drop me an email and I'll try to figure a way to get them to you if you want.

Why is it called "Common Sense"? It doesn't seem all that common!

I've followed the instruction at http://www.thomaskoetzing.de/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=56&Itemid=96 and it's works.

Thanks Rudy

I was looking for the same thing and this worked for my site also. Needed application to only be internally facing and not external.
I have 2 sites and used this on the external site that requires Secure Gateway. Tested out perfectly!

Dan,
Did you happen to find that modified version you had to show only certain apps. I'm looking to do the same thing but I am a little lacking on the scripting side of things. I can follow the instructions to hide specific applications, but I'm needing to hide all applications but selected ones. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I couldn't find a way to privately email you my address, so I gave you a temporary email account I have.

Hi Dan,

Would it be possible for you to publish the inverted modification for download.

Thanks,
