Can you upgrade Citrix License Server to 4.5 for a PS4.0 Server Farm? I am currently running PS4.0 with License Server 2.0.

I've been having some problems lately with my license server and was wondering if upgrading to 4.5 license server was a possibliity.

The license server software is always downwards compatible, so yes, you can upgrade to the latest license server software (afaik 11.3?)
mcse, rcp, ccna, ccsp, cca, ccea, ccia 4.0, cca 4.5 etc :-)

If I attempt to upgrade my current 4.5 license server to 11.5 so I can run XenApp on 2008, will the install realize that 4.5 is installed and "upgrade" it, keeping all my licenses or will I have to re-import my licenses?  I know the 11.5 is backwards compatible but I want to make sure I don't screw up my existing configuration.

As part of the upgrade you need to download the license file to get the 11.5 functionality.

Best wishes
