When I try to install a Dell 920 ( All-in-one ) driver on MS TS (2003) it almost completes but then fails with the message " Printer driver not installed. The specified print monitor is unknown".
Anyone know how to get around this error and install the driver?
Anyone know of a HP or other substitute driver?
Thanks!

The dell A920 is a rebadged lexmark X1150.
The lexmark X series are very hard to get up and running ok on TS/citrix.
Some x-series drivers respond to a simple "HP LaserJet 4" driver.

I had the same problem, I eventually found that the service "LEXbce server" had been disabled, I changed the startup to automatic and then scanned for new printers and all work fine.
To check the service:
right click "My Computer" - Manage "Services and Applications" services
I used the latest verion of the drivers from dell.

Question please:
Is there a printer driver that allows the Dell A920 to be connected to either OS 9.2 or OS 10.3 Macintoshes?
Thank you.

Thank you so much for posting the reply about the "LEXbce server". I was about to rip my hair out trying to install a Dell A960 all-in-one with the same "specified print monitor is unknown" error message. I followed the instructions you posted and it worked!
Even Dell support could not help me
Thanks again

Thanks a ton for the lexbce server advice. I couldn't even find a microsoft or dell tech who could give this simple (and effective) advice.
