Citrix Activx 10.x Session Disconexion status Problem, in the Citrix XenApp / Presentation Server forum on BrianMadden.com

First thing, thank you for your prestation in Paris ! You are a reference for all of us.

Well, i discovered once Bug on the Citrix AcitvX client 10.x.

Can you confirm or infirm this puropose ?

---> When you Close the windows of the InterExplorer ActivX 10.x the session status do not switch to the Disconnected Status until the "idle time limit".

Somme impacts :

- The user can not reconnect to his disconnected session, because the session's still active on the server.

- The user will consume a new licence for each new connexion.

- Server workload.

We have a large farm with approximatively 200 Citrix servers in 4 datacenters with CPS4 and a Web interface 3.0, without workspace control.

The problem can be reproduced on CPS45 with Webinterface 4.6 to. This problem do not occurs with the Citrix Activx 9.x Client.

Considering this is the supported version for Vista opperating systems and now it's the only-one available on the download web site, i hope Citrix will provide us a patch quikly.

Citrix's Devellopers are working on this issue.

We actualy receive many complains with our Worldwide Remote users because of that.

You'll say us don't use Activ-x but native,web,or java client.

It's not my personal choice, but this problem did not occur on the previous previous versions.
