MSDE Datastore move, in the Citrix XenApp / Presentation Server forum on BrianMadden.com

Hello,
I have followed the process in CTX 104941 to move the msde datastore from one server to the next but was unsuccessful. My environment is 3 PS4 Enterprise servers on windows 2003x64. In addition 1 WI/Licensing server.
Datastore is MSDE with the other servers connecting indirect.

Question 1 I assume the new datastore server must have PS4 installed. Does this server need to be join to the farm upon installation?

Question 2 On step 3 it refers to using dsmaint failover command to the new server. At this point I get an error that states unable to connect to the datastore?

Question 3 Do I need to worry about any DSN with MSDE?

Any insight/help would be greatly appreciated!!
