Application move to production process., in the Application Installation & Compatibility forum on BrianMadden.com

My question is who should own the deliver of applications to production servers.

My group is divided into there areas:
1. Application Packaging
2. L2/L3 Citrix Support
3. Architecture

Does Support own delivery or does Application Packaging own the delivery of application packages to the production servers?

Our environment consists of:

1. PS 4.0
2. 2 farms
3. 400 servers that will grow to 800 in a relatively short period of time.

I have my own opinion but I will keep them to myself.
