In the process of upgrading 4.0 to 4.5. One app (instance of IE), opens a session from an external vendor within the IE instance. When we upgraded our XPe/W2K environment to 4.0/2K3, i only needed to modify the HKEY\Local Machine\Microsoft\Windows\MS Licensing key permissions so the external farm could write data to it. This same approach does not appear to work with my 4.5/W23R2 environment. The users receive an error "The ICA file could not be found". I have an analyst contacting the external site's vendor, but wanted to know if this turns on a light for anyone. Thanks,

I was able to replicate the end user issue. The external site uses Metaframe XP, which opens up with the internal Xenapp 4.5 session. This only appeared after the end user(s) upgraded their ICA client from 9.15 to 10.2. Citrix doesn't seem to have any information on this. Anyone out there seen this before?
