Presently, we are testing Provisioning Server and V-disks for our Citrix Environment.

The issue that we are finding is that when users are connected to a virtual server (Either from XenServer, VMWare, or Provisioning Server V-disk), the users local D: drive maps, but not the local C: drive. Initially, I believed this to be a user profile issue, so we cleaned the profiles and that did not resolve the issue. When the user connected to a physical server, the drive mapped properly. This only happens when they are connected to the Virtual Servers. This doesn't seem to be specific to either Provisioning Server, or VMWare.

Any & All assistance with this matter is greatly appreciated.

is D: a hard drive, mapped drive or optical drive (DVD/CD)?

sorry, misread post. nevermind.

Check your permissions and compare on both. Virtual has nothing to do with the Operating System of the servers as that is where the persmissions to map are set.
