I have a PS 4.0 farm on W2K3 SP1 servers, running R04. I've ran into some issues with Edgesight 4.5 Licensing and Citrix suggested to switch the servers to use Platinum licensing. Well according to article CTX115890 I should be able to see the option under Server Options -> Set Metaframe Edition for Platinum after either applying a hotfix PSE400R03W2K3058 or Rollup Pack 4. I have tried applying and re-installing rollup packs consequently and I still do not see the option. I also tried to install the R05 just to try it and still do not see the option. Before I did all the steps mentioned above I moved the server over to it's own farm by running chfarm command and creating a new farm with MS Access database to make sure it's on it's own and not interacting with the original data store for testing purposes.
I also found a published script on Citrix site called SetCPSEdition.vbs that manually sets the Edition on a single server or the whole farm. I've done this to the server and it just enabled the Other option and put in PLT into the text line. Doesn't look right to me.
