This is a video of a breakout session from BriForum Europe 2007, presented by Brian
Madden and Gabe Knuth.
Session Description: A few weeks ago, Gabe and Brian recommended a solution that
involved VDI for a university with several thousand users. We didn't
choose any traditional TS for this environment. It felt weird to us.
We
blogged about this on BrianMadden.com a few weeks ago, and we received
93 comments in just a few days. They ranged from "Yes! This is cool!"
to "You guys are stupid and screwing the customer." Since this has been
such controversial article, Gabe and Brian will discuss this case study
in this session. Lively debate will most likely ensue
