There aren't that much demo's of Microsoft Calista.
This video shows a Vista based host using Microsoft Calista utilizing GPU based compression over Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP).

This demo doesn't really show/tell you much.  There was no mentioned of bandwidth usage, or what hardware is required.  They mentioned GPU based encode/decode, which implies you need a thick client of some kind.  What are the GPU requirements, and what server hareware supports this for TS.  I can see how this would fit with blade workstation technologies, but there are others already doing similar things.  The think I am interested in figuring out is what the Calista virtual GPU is all about.  Does this mean you can get hardware acceleration in a VM??  That is what I am waiting for.
